Eric Lee M.D., Ph.D
Dr. Lee grew up in San Francisco and attended UC Davis where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Neurology, Physiology and Behavior with minors in computer science, economics, and comparative literature. He worked for the UC Davis department of surgery as a clinical scientist before attending the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where he earned a Ph.D. in Biophysics and Computational Biology followed by completion of medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. While at the University of Illinois his research with the late professor Klaus Schulten focused on all-atom molecular modeling and simulations of biomolecular systems investigating a wide variety of biomedical topics such as muscle protein elasticity, the mechanical properties of blood clots, and antiviral drug design.
He is widely published in journals such as Biophysical Journal, Structure, Journal of Computational Information and Modeling, and PLOS Computational Biology. He has presented his research at the Biophysical Society annual conference as a platform lecture and also at the American Association for Cancer Research annual conference. After medical school he completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Dr. Lee’s approach to cancer care involves strong patient advocacy and taking a personalized approach to formulate a comprehensive plan that fits each patient’s individual needs and outcomes.
In his spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling and discovering new outdoor destinations with his wife, working on cars, and volunteering for education and science outreach activities.

Dr. Salimi-Tari graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a bachelor’s degree in Near Eastern Studies before attending medical school.
